Wild at heart: Collette Dinnigan’s raunchy new lingerie campaign

Collette Dinnigan and lace. It’s a pretty natural association and one that the beloved Australian designer has worked to her full potential during her reign as one of Australia’s most celebrated fashion exports. And despite closing her namesake read-to-wear label two years ago, Dinnigan’s design legacy lives on through various diffusion projects and collaborations, like her latest – an exclusive lingerie line for Target.

If this all sounds a bit familiar to you – you’d be correct. It’s not the first time the designer has paired up with the retail giant – they joined forces for a lingerie line back in 2008, so for Dinnigan it was a no brainer. “Lingerie is where I first started my career,” she says. “When you love something you gravitate towards it, there is a natural affinity.”

Titled, ‘Wild Hearts’, Dinnigan describes the 60-piece collection as “the epitome of everyday luxury” – a wear-every-day range of feminine bras, camisoles and briefs featuring stunning lace and embroidery detailing. And unlike Dinnigan’s dry clean-only boudoir creations from the ’90s, the ‘Wild Hearts’ range is thankfully completely washable.

With a sexy campaign fronted by sultry Netherlands-born babe Marloes Horst (a Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret fave, and one of the faces of Maybelline) the Wild Hearts by Collette Dinnigan collection is available now at Target’s 172 national stores and online (at with new stock being added up until February 2016. Available in bra sizes ranging from 10B to 16DD and underwear from 8 to 16, the collection’s purse-happy prices start from just $15.
