This property had a grand style – built from old wooden beams and pillars from Darling Harbour jetty. Well, that that was half of the house. The other half was built some years later not in keeping with the original rustic style. The challenge was to make the whole property cohesive. I added reclaimed floorboards throughout, renewed the internal walls, the skirting boards, door frames, cornices so that they were all in harmony with each other. I found and used many old hard wood windows and doors. This all added extra light and views that added depth to the house.
