Giving as Good as you Get
I have always believed in supporting people. At the beginning of Masterchef we were all invited to choose a charity and so I decided to work with Hope Delivery. It was started in 2020 by Neil Perry in the face of the pandemic to help people who were struggling to survive, particularly the homeless, underprivileged and international hospitality visa workers. Even though we are all regrouping now and life is readjusting, it’s great work goes on. Hope Delivery has sent out over 110,000 meals and raised in excess of $300,000 and works closely with OzHarvest.
Food cannot be taken for granted, not everyone as fortunate as I have been and it is important to give where we all can, even a few dollars helps.
